I’m starting this Thursday early. I made this painting. My first watercolor painting after (idk, maybe 10 years, as long as i can remember 
)
And this is the first time I’m using canvas for media for watercolor painting.
It’s not so bad, actually It’s good. I hate the oil painting because it’s smelly!
Tho, Lizz loves that kind of material..
I like the watercolor one because it’s easy to be cleaned. Just wash your hand with soap and wipe your table with a wet clean cloth. Bingo! Your workspace is clean again
And this one is how I went with background.
I wanted the background to be a light blue one, but I’m running out of light-blue color. So this is what happened with the background..

And this is the result. I added a bright square gradient inside.

I wasn’t really satisfied with the result. Neither was Lizz. She suggested to turn the background into a darker one. Then I came up with this idea to make the square gradient bigger but still, from lighter to dark.

Hey there!
It’s me again (Liz) \(^_^)/ and i’m back to my fryyyday-blaaagh-posting! Thank god it’s friday (does it even matter?)! FYI, i haven’t slept since yesterday! For some of you who take a glimpse on my YM stat, u probably know what i was doing all night long. I didn’t smoke or poke. I was painting. Yes, i used to paint back then and that i’ve stopped, but now im back ! I turned my meditate spot into a chaotic studio space .

I use mostly acrylics (for the background) and a white dermatograph pencil which i luv cuz it has a rope in the pencil that can be torn so it doesn’t need to be sharpened, for my 5 pieces of painting. Okay, let’s just cut the crap and have a look, i put em in order
1. I’m a tweet freak is my first painting of the day. I made this right after i read people’s tweet. Oh yea i almost forget to mention the oil pastels. I use em to color the alphabets (only for this painting) and then i wiped em off with facial cottons to give it a washout or chalk effect.

2. Animal-that-quote. I’m thinking to make a set of it and sell em out on etsy!

3. A grunge Bird. My first grunge painting. The bird was for the tweet shape on the first painting.

4. Penelope Cruz . My favorite painting of the day. I’m so glad i still keep the i-guess-it’s-a-last-month-Mango catalog magz. It fell to my feet when i was painting the grunge birdy. I take that as a good sign

Done with the making dirty stuff, it’s time to take a quick nap, i got many things to do today. Hope i wont collapse. what about my room? who wants to help me clean my hey-it’s-not-a-studio ☠? anyone?
